Golden Link Holds First College Graduation

Golden Link conferred bachelor's degrees to six students in the college department last March 30, 2012. This was the first batch of college graduates in the 10-year history of the school. Justice Flerida Ruth P. Romero was the Guest of Honor during the graduation. The elementary and high school graduation were held last March 25, 2012. The graduates were:

Bachelor of Elementary Education

- Armielyn Matela (cum laude)
- Mary Rose Osita

GLC to Open Campus in Bohol
The Golden Link School will open a campus in Cortes, Bohol, about 15 minutes from Tagbilaran City, the provincial capital. The school will start with nursery, kindergarten and preparatory levels. It will offer free summer classes in April, 2013, and formal classes will start in June, 2013. The school will be under the supervision of Mrs. Cora Ponteres, former President of the Bohol Lodge of the Theosophical Society.
GLC Donates Books to Public Schools
Golden Link College has donated thousands of books to more than ten schools in various parts of the Philippines. The books are part of the donation given by the New Zealand Theosophical Order of Service.
GLC Receives Donation from TOS USA and Kern Foundation
The Golden Link College received a donation of US$$40,200 from the TOS USA and Kern Foundation as part of their continuing support of Golden Link.
Caroling to the Poor
About 60 students, faculty members, administrators and friends of Golden Link College joined the annual caroling where they visited extremely poor families in the communities around Golden Link and deliver groceries, books, toys and financial donations. The carolers included about 10 students from Korea who were studying at Waton Language School in Quezon City and who took part in the gift giving to the poor.
GLC Holds First Alumni Homecoming
The alumni of Golden Link held their first alumni homecoming last December 21, 2013. It was attended by representatives of almost all the batches since the first graduation of Golden Link. The homecoming also elected its first set of officers headed by its President, Rioneil Morquianos.

GLC Opens Bookstore
A small bookstore has been opened adjacent to the canteen selling books at very low prices. The bookstore is open only during lunch time and is supervised by volunteer high school students. The books come partly from the book donations of New Zealand Theosophical Order of Service. The proceeds go to the scholarship program of Golden Link.
GLC Welcomes Korean Students
GLC welcomed more than 10 Korean high school students who attended regular classes at GLC last December, 2012 and January, 2013. They were students of Waton Language School of Quezon City and were here for about two months to undergo immersion in learning the English language.
Recent Visitors
GLC has welcomed many visitors recently from local and foreign places.
