Philippine section business meeting The Philippine section held its annual conference during the Indo-Pacific Conference. The Federations (Luzon and Vis-Min) reviewed its work and planned for the coming year.
Visit to Golden Link School The delegates to the Conference visited the Golden Link School. At the top photo are the students welcoming the delegates at the gate.
Visit to SM Mall The Philippines' largest mall, SM, laid down the red carpet for delegates of the Indo-Pacific Conference at one its major branches.
Visit to Lights and Sounds The delegates visited a museum called "Light and Sounds" featuring the history of the Philippines prior to its independence.
Light moments Here are random shots of the informal moments during the conference. At right, the Australian delegates presents several songs and acted out by Pedro Oliveira (on the floor).   The Godea Lodge of the Philippine section presented a traditional Muslim dance of the South.       Here are Larry (Singapore) and Mayette (Philippines) doing their animated dance. The dancing broke out spontaneously after the session.     Here, George and Gailene Wester of Australia demonstrate professional dancing.         "Because we have been having vey meaningful meetings, we shall now devote time to non-meaning."   At such gatherings as this, we are helped to realize more of the very essence of Theosophy than perhaps we have done hitherto. I feel than an important part of the work of the Theosophical Society is being accomplished through its conventions and conferences, which are not just occasions for talking and listening. That is a purely superficial and outward interpretation of what actually takes place. We are here in order to create an atmosphere, to set forces in action, to change ourselves, to enter with our whole hearts into the truths of the Divine Wisdom.
