Gelugpa

(Tib. dGe-lugs-pa). An order of Tibetan lamas founded by TSONG-KA-PA, popularly known as the “Yellow-hats.” Helena P. BLAVATSKY refers to this order quite frequently, but spells it Gelukpa. See BUDDHISM, TIBETAN.
