One of the four meditations (dhy€na) described in the Mah€y€na Buddhist text La‰k€vat€ra S™tra. It is that state in which the mind has gone (gata) into “Suchness” (tath€). In this state the unreality and incomprehensibility of all phenomena is realized and feeling and thought no longer operate.
