At Beas, near Kapurthala in India, there is a religious sect called the R€dh€ So€mi, the members of which meditate on “mystical sound.” This meditation process is called ®abd Yoga. As is the case with some other systems, this meditation begins by concentration on “the space between the eyebrows” and if the meditation is properly carried out then the beautiful sound of a bell may be heard.  It is said that during the meditation a sensation of rising is experienced.
