One of the names of Jehovah used by the Chaldean Sabaeans. It means the “Lord of Hosts” in Genesis (Gen. 2:1). In the Ophite Gnosticism, Sabaoth is one of the seven archons or planetary spirits, identified by Helena P. BLAVATSKY as SATURN. See Kabbalah.
