(d. 1923). Joint General Secretary for the Indian Section of the Theosophical Society (TS), 1907-8. The 1938 Theosophical Year Book (T.P.H. Adyar) states that he abandoned the legal profession to devote his life to theosophical work. He was one of the organizers of the Tamil District TS Federation in 1903 while acting as provincial secretary for Southern India and was a lecturer and lodge inspector from the 90’s until his death. He was a noted Sanskrit scholar and translated many Sanskrit works into English.
