Also known as Harichandra Chintamon. He was the representative in Bombay, India, of Swami DAYANANDA SARASVATI, leader of the ARYA SAMAJ with whom the Theosophical Society (TS) merged until significant differences forced the alliance to be terminated. According to a letter of the Mahatma KOOT HOOMI, Hurrychund was expelled from the Theosophical Society after he was exposed for having robbed the Theosophical Society (TS) founders and Day€nand of Rs. 4000 (ML, p. 291).
