One of the first two Vice-Presidents of the Theosophical Society (TS), and one of the sixteen persons present at the meeting during which the formation of the Theosophical Society was proposed.  Little is known about his life or career.  He was a New York engineer and architect and delivered a lecture, entitled “The Lost Canon of Proportion of the Egyptians” to an early gathering.  After the departure of Helena P. Blavatsky and Henry S. Olcott to India, Felt lost interest and drifted out of the TS.
