Aja

A Sanskrit word the literal meaning of which is unborn or unproduced. In the ¬g Veda, K€ma or K€madeva, the God of desire is described as Aja (the unborn), the first manifestation of the One. In later Hinduism, Brahm€, ViŠu, and ®iva are also considered aja or unborn. And in its feminine form as aj€, matter (prakti) and illusion (m€y€) are also unborn, i.e., eternal.
