Aghati-Karma
From Theosopedia
A Sanskrit compound word, agh€ti meaning “non-obstructive” and karma which means “action,” but is used in Hinduism and theosophy to mean acts in the past and present lives that have an effect on either the present or future lives. Karma is central to Jain beliefs and four types of non-obstructive karma are recognized. They are: the length of life in any existing birth (€yus); the body with its qualities and faculties (n€ma); the nationality, family and caste (gotra); and antar€ya, a quality of the soul which prevents the individual doing good action even though there is a desire to do it.
