A Sanskrit term meaning “archetypal human.” Helena P. Blavatsky, in her The Secret Doctrine, states, “The ‘Heavenly’ Manu-Sv€yambhuva, who sprang from Sv€yambhu-Narayana, the ‘Self-existent,’ and Adam Kadmon of the Qabbalists, and the Androgyne man of Genesis ch. I are also identical (SD II:128).”
