(Sk.). From the Sankskrit m€nas or mind. In The Secret Doctrine, these are identical with the KUMšRAS or the AGNISHVšTTAS, who awakened the mind principle in human beings. They are also equivalent to the M€nasa Dhy€nis who are the highest PIT¬IS in the PURšNAS. In the Mah€bh€rata, M€nasa is the name of a primeval god that has no beginning or ending. See SOLAR PIT¬IS.
