(1865-1919). Founder of the Rosicrucian Fellowship in Oceanside, California, and a former member of the Theosophical Society (TS). Heindel was born on July 23, 1865. He joined the TS in 1907 in Los Angeles, USA. Heindel resigned to form a Rosicrucian organization which commenced operation in 1912. He claimed to be the authorized agent in America for the Rosicrucian Movement. See also ROSICRUCIAN FELLOWSHIP.
