An English language theosophical journal edited by Adelaide Gardner.  It had its origin in Belgium where there was a publication named L’Action Théosophique which was first issued shortly before World War II.  The Belgian version was offered in French, German and English, but ceased publication after the country was occupied in May 1940 by Nazi forces.  It was then that Gardner decided to continue producing it in England as a quarterly magazine.
