(Kab). The world made as a first model, from which the objective world emanates. Same as W. Wynn Westcott’s “Archetypal Universe” (see BLAVATSKY’s Theosophical Glossary, p. 29) or Blavatsky’s archetypal man. See also ANIMA MUNDI, SVABHAVAT and ADAM KADMON. The term also denotes the first of the four lower planes of cosmic consciousness occupied by globes A and G (see diagram in The Secret Doctrine, p. 200). The term is not to be taken in the sense of the Platonist (the world as it exists in the mind of the deity), but of a world that is a spiritual prototype of the proceeding ones.
