(Lok€ C€ku). Literally, “eye of the world.” It refers to the Sun or S™rya. The term occurs in the The Secret Doctrine of Helena P. Blavatsky where Stanza I reads: “The LHA (a) which turns the fourth (Globe, or our Earth) is servant to the Lha(s) of the seven (the planetary Spirits), (b) they who revolve, driving their chariots around their Lord, the one eye (Loka-Chakshub) of our world. His breath gives life to the seven (gives light to the planets)” (SD II:22).
