Also Zervan-Akarana. Literally, “boundless time.” In ZOROASTRIANISM, the father of the good and evil principles of the universe, namely, Ahura Mazda (or Ormazd) and Ahriman (or Angra Mainyu). It is equivalent to the PARABRAHMAN of the Hindus and AIN SOPH of the Kabalists.
